Its goal is to increase traffic safety and to manage traffic infrastructure more rationally. It is thematically related to strategic planning, construction and maintenance of the road network, traffic safety, IT systems for traffic management, innovations in signalling and equipment, new technologies in road construction, sustainable urban mobility and environmental protection, the use of funds, and smart infrastructure management — “Smart city”.

In line with EU road policy and global trends, the conference conceptually connects all modes of traffic that enable sustainable development of the transport system with energy efficiency and care for the environment, while maximising the safety of all road users.
